Peter established Shed in 2003 and has grown the business into an award-winning grounds and exterior maintenance contractor serving the commercial sector nationwide.

Craig Clapperton

Business Development Manager

Craig has recently joined us after 22 years in the grounds maintenance industry. In addition to directing sales and attaining new contracts, Craig works with existing customers to enhance their customer care.

Administration Assistant

Mel joined the team in 2016 after working for over 10 years in the probation sector. She brings a large set of administration, finance, reception and accounting skills to Shed.

Brian joined the Shed team in the summer of 2015. Brian is a keen gardener himself and owns a 1200 sq ft allotment where he grows Parnsips, Rhubarb and Strawberries which he then makes into wine!

Chris Smith

Foreman

Chris joined our team on a full time basis in the summer of 2017. He is based at the York depot. Chris enjoys spending time with his daughter, going swimming, dining out with friends and trips to the cinema.

Connor Davison

Operative

Connor has rejoined the business after completing an apprenticeship with Shed in 2017. He is based within the Chesterfield team and enjoys playing snooker at the weekend with his friends.

George Parkin

Mechanic

George has worked for Shed for several years, fixing and repairing our equipment and machinery. When he’s not mending things, he likes to spend his spare time taking his dog for a walk.

Nicky Botham

Company Secretary / Director

Nicky Botham joined the Shed team in 2010. She brings with her a wealth of commercial experience in quality standards, customer care/relations, and financial management.

Mark Hanson

Foreman

Mark joined the Shed team with his son Jack in the spring of 2018. He, like Jack, is a keen fisherman, spending many weekends doing his favourite activity. Aside from his fishing, Mark loves to spend time with his family.

Carl Bullement

External Accountant

Carl is from Cairns Accountants and provides ongoing Quickbooks support, oversees our payroll and submits the end of year accounts. He supports Sheffield Wednesday and enjoys accompanying us at awards dinners!

Jason joined the team in 2014 after amassing more than 30 years experience in the industry. He is responsible for pricing and winning new contracts whilst managing existing accounts.

Daniel Booth

Operations Supervisor

Daniel joined the Shed team as an operative in the Spring of 2018, but was soon promoted to Operations Supervisor in 2019. Daniel enjoys music and spends a good chunk of his spare time playing his guitar.

Garry is a foreman who joined the Shed team in the Spring of 2013 and works with his son Drew out of the Coventry depot. In his spare time Garry enjoys tending to his garden and completing DIY projects.

Drew Barnsley joined us in 2014. He works with his father Garry Barnsley out of our Coventry base. He is a huge Leicester City Fan. He enjoys socialising with friends and likes the odd flutter on football matches.

Terry Stone – R.I.P.

One of our original employees, Terry sadly passed away suddenly in August 2018 after 13 years of service. In a former role he mentored our MD Peter Botham as a young 17-year-old planting trees in Derbyshire. He had a work pace few could keep up with and a wicked sense of humour we all miss.
