We are delighted to announce that Shed Grounds Maintenance Ltd. has been awarded a three-year contract with Kirklees College, starting in August 2025.
The contract covers all seven college sites across West Yorkshire and will be serviced by our Leeds depot. Together, these campuses serve more than 12,000 students and apprentices each year.
Our dedicated team will be delivering a wide range of services including grass cutting, hedge maintenance, leaf and litter control, pruning, weed control, sports pitch maintenance, and tree surveys. During the winter months, we’ll also provide 24/7 gritting, snow clearance, and emergency response to keep the campuses safe and accessible.
Our work will be delivered with a strong focus on sustainability — from environmentally friendly gardening practices and waste minimisation to the safe handling of chemicals and containers. All applications are carried out by our professionally trained and qualified staff, ensuring safety, compliance, and best practice, while supporting Kirklees College’s sustainability values and academic excellence.
