As we continue our journey of growth, we are extremely excited to share that we have now moved our Head Office to the new offices based at our Derbyshire depot, Shirland House Farm.
It has been a journey and a half for the company to reach this point.
The farm was bought back in February 2021 – viewed, auctioned, and purchased all in just 3 days!! In short order Shed had created a functioning new depot, and the operations team moved in during March 2021.

Then the real hard work began! The Farmhouse had been empty for over 12 years and was in a very sorry state. Undeterred, our Managing Director, Peter Botham, became a temporary Property Manager and performed an amazing transformation of the derelict building, converting it to modern offices. Our Head Office team moved in at the beginning of August and settled in quickly to the new offices at the farm.
We love how the move has brought their Derbyshire Operations team and Head office team to work together.

Our Senior Business Administrator, Mel, said:
“I feel like the new office is such a huge improvement on our previous offices. It’s got great modern facilities, a private meeting room and no more desk sharing!
Now that both the Head Office and Operations Teams are working from one base, it has increased our working relationships and conversations. The Operations Teams often pop in after their shifts, so I finally get to put some faces to names…”
The before and after pictures really do just speak for themselves. It well and truly has been a transformation.
There is still work to be done but we are so proud of our journey so far and cannot wait for exciting times ahead.
