In the past few months, we’ve been thrilled to see the company experience some fantastic growth. None of this would have been possible without the support, skill and hard work of our brilliant team.
Lots of these guys have been with us for many years, and have stuck with us throughout all the highs and lows (including a national lockdown, no less!).
So, we wanted to use this News post to say thank you to one of our team members who has recently received their 5 Years’ Service award with Shed Grounds: Mel Sellors (our brilliant Administration Assistant).
Mel joined our team back in 2016, and ever since day one, she has been incredibly cheerful, caring, and dedicated.
Mel works in our head office, and alongside crunching the numbers and keeping our reception in check, she’s always a bright and bubbly presence.
Nicky Botham, Shed’s Company Secretary, has expressed her delight at awarding Mel her 5 Years’ Service, and shared her praise for her right-hand man:
“Mel joined me almost 5 years ago and has been one of the best people I have ever worked with. Her conscientious nature, commitment, and passion for Shed and her work are second to none.
“Mel is like a whirlwind, the amount of work she completes is phenomenal! She thinks on her feet and looks to resolve issues herself where she can, which is an invaluable asset for a small company such as ours.
“I have seen Mel develop and grow in confidence over the years. She has progressed from an administrative role into becoming my right-hand man, sharing responsibility with me for managing all aspects of the business, including customer care, accounting tasks, people management and supporting the management team.
“We are blessed that Mel applied to join our team and look forward to many more happy years working together.”
It is with great delight that we award Mel her 5 Years’ Service award, and take this opportunity to thank her for all her hard work.
