As we continue to mark our 20th anniversary in business, we have planted two more silver birch trees, this time at the Scania Group. Inspired by the ‘Queen’s Green Canopy’ – a huge national tree planting incentive to mark the late Monarch’s Platinum Jubilee in 2022. We have already planted numerous trees for our loyal clients. And for every tree planted we donate £100 to our team’s chosen charity, The Ashgate Hospice.
Our partnership with Scania started in 2018, and we now maintain 30 of their sites across the country. Josh Wilmin from Scania kindly expressed his gratitude to Shed, stating “Scania GB UK are pleased to be working with Shed Grounds Maintenance across our sites. The Silver Birch trees donated by Shed will become part of a further planting scheme designed to encourage wildlife and habitat.”
This initiative of planting trees has raised much needed support for The Ashgate Hospice, and we are grateful to many of enthusiastic clients, such as Scania who have very generously also donated to the charity.
The planting of these two trees marks a continuation our mission to recognise our clients support over the past 20 years, and for us to achieve our goal to give a bit back to the environment. It’s about us showing our gratitude whilst making a positive impact.
